Code of Conduct

1. Sportsmanship and Respect

  • Treat opponents, teammates, coaches, officials, and spectators with respect.

  • Avoid inappropriate language, gestures, or conduct.

  • Be gracious in victory and defeat.

2. Integrity and Honesty

  • Compete fairly and adhere to the rules of the sport.

  • Do not cheat or engage in unsportsmanlike behavior.

  • Represent the team and club with integrity.

3. Commitment to Training and Competition

  • Attend practices, meetings, and competitions as required.

  • Give full effort during training and races.

  • Be punctual and ready to paddle or train.

4. Teamwork

  • Support teammates and foster a positive team environment.

  • Communicate openly and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.

  • Respect the roles and decisions of coaches and team leaders.

5. Health and Safety

  • Prioritize physical and mental well-being.

  • Avoid the use of performance-enhancing substances.

  • Report injuries or health concerns to the appropriate personnel.

6. Responsibility and Accountability

  • Take responsibility for actions both on and off the water.

  • Maintain personal and team equipment.

7. Social Media and Public Representation

  • Use social media in a way that reflects positively on the team and organization.

  • Avoid posting harmful or inappropriate content related to teammates, opponents, or the sport.

8. Respect for Diversity and Inclusion

  • Treat all individuals with fairness and respect, regardless of background, ethnicity, gender, or orientation.

  • Contribute to an inclusive environment that values differences.

This code helps ensure that athletes not only perform at their best but also maintain a positive image for the team and club.
